The Ethnic Studies Department is now home to a brand new instructionally related activity (IRA)!
Beginning this academic year, the Kazuma Daiko IRA is advised by ES faculty member and Associate Chair, Dr. Grace Yeh, gyeh@calpoly.edu. Kazuma Daiko is a performing group where students learn Japanese Taiko, a traditional percussion/dance performing art. Kazuma Daiko has weekly practices as well as workshops for students to learn and improve their performance skills. Kazuma Daiko performs both on and off campus and for the annual Haramatsuri (Spring Festival). Find out more about the group using their profile links below!
